Trace your home's outline over an aerial photo, then set the height at each point — directly, or computed from roof pitch at a gable peak — to measure exterior wall, eave, and rafter tail area.
This is a sample measurement so you can see how it works. Upload your own aerial screenshot to trace your home.
Each numbered point on the photo gets a height. Set it directly, or at a gable peak switch to “From pitch” and the tool computes it from the roof slope and the run to its nearest eave point — add the peak as an extra point while tracing (or double-click an edge afterward).
Tip: No ladder needed for a real peak height — in Google Earth, use the elevation readout at the roof peak and again at the ground directly below it, then enter the difference here as a Direct height. It's more accurate than a pitch guess when you can get it.
Trace and close an outline on the left to list its points here.
